Hyper-pigmentation

Hyperpigmentation is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin. Hyperpigmentation is also symptomatic of certain illnesses, such as some autoimmune and gastrointestinal diseases, metabolic disorders and vitamin deficiencies.

UV Protection From Inside Out

Evenout Pro™ provides some degree of protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation when used in conjunction with topical sunscreen. It does not replace the need of topical sunscreen, but rather taken to complement protection against harmful UV damage While topical sunscreen is applied on skin, Evenout Pro™ (oral sunscreen) is consumed in the form of powder. Evenout Pro™ contains strong antioxidants that we may not get enough of in our day to day diet, and these help to protect our bodies against free radicals caused by UV light’s interaction with cells in our body, which can actually damage our protein and DNA

1. PYCNOGENOL®

Pycnogenol® (pic-noj-en-all) is a natural plant extract originating from the bark of the maritime pine that grows along the coast of southwest France and is found to contain a unique combination of procyanidins, bioflavonoids and phenolic acids, which offer extensive natural health benefits. It’s packed with a potent blend of natural antioxidants, which could make it a powerful weapon in the battle against hyperpigmentation.

Pycnogenol® significantly improves dermal blood micro-circulation

Pycnogenol® was demonstrated to increase blood perfusion of the dermis, resulting in greater oxygen and nutrient abundance as well as better waste removal [Belcaro et al., 2006]. Pycnogenol® was demonstrated in clinical trials to significantly elevate dermal oxygen prevalence and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide presence [Belcaro et al., 2005]

Pycnogenol® dose-dependently increases resistance to solar UV exposure (solar light dose needed to trigger skin redness)

Oral supplementation of 21 healthy volunteers, presenting with fair skin (predominantly skin types I and II) with Pycnogenol®, at different dosages in repeat experiments, demonstrated significant photo-protective effects, reducing the minimal erythema dosage [Saliou et al., 2000]. The minimum UV dosage leading to first visible signs of skin reddening (erythema) was demonstrated to increase in response to Pycnogenol® supplementation in a dose-dependent fashion.

Pycnogenol® moisturizes the skin & Elevates skin hydration

The gene expression of the hyaluronic acid generating enzyme was significantly increasing skin hydration by average 44% in women taking Pycnogenol® for twelve weeks, as compared to baseline values. Furthermore, Pycnogenol® stabilises dermal barrier functions which further contributes to defy skin dryness. In women presenting with normal skin moisture, as measured by corneometry, supplementation with Pycnogenol® was demonstrated to still further improve skin humidity significantly by 8% [Marini et al.,2012].

Pycnogenol® stimulates collagen & elasticity synthesis in women

The elevated collagen synthesis identified in the dermis of 20 women supplementing with Pycnogenol® with significant increase of their skin elasticity parameters as judged from customer measurements, after both 6 and 12 weeks of supplementation with Pycnogenol®, respectively.

A clinical study demonstrated that supplementation with Pycnogenol® effectively lightens-up over-pigmented skin areas [Ni et al.,2002].

In a clinical trial with 20 women oral supplementation with Pycnogenol® was shown to significantly lower UV-induced expression of pigment synthesizing enzymes, tyrosinase-related protein 1 (TRP1) and tyrosinase, related to melanogenesis [Grether-Becket al., 2016]. This further supports Pycnogenol® ability to reduce hyper-pigmentation

2. Fern (Polypodium Leucotomos)

Polypodium Leucotomos is a tropical fern plant native to Central America and parts of South America Many of clinical studies have shown extracts of Polypodium Leucotomos to be surprisingly effective at defending skin against damage from the sun UV with some authors even calling it an internal sunscreen. Fern (Polypodium Leucotomos ) is taken orally for the treatment of inflammation and a variety of skin ailments, it also serves as a protectant against sunburn and helps prevent and relieve Polymorphous Light Eruption (PMLE). PMLE, is a rash caused by sun exposure in people who have developed sensitivity to sunlight. This sensitivity is called photosensitivity. It results in immune system activity that causes a rash. The rash usually appears as red, tiny bumps or slightly raised patches of skin. Fern (Polypodium Leucotomo) helps skin protection against UV radiation, prevention of photoaging, prevent & relieve PMLE, anti inflammatory, stimulate collagen production, powerful antioxidant, reactive oxygen species in skin tissue and reduce skin darkening.

3. Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3)

Nicotinamide, also known as Niacinamide , is an essential water soluble vitamin, active form of vitamin B3. Nicotinamide can concurrently rebuild healthy skin cells while also protecting them from damage caused by UV rays. Nicotinamide can helps repair damaged DNA, reduce the rate of non-melanoma skin cancer, improve skin elasticity, re-balance uneven skin tones & restore cellular energy.

4. Rice Derived Ceramide

Rice Derived Ceramide, brownish in color, extracted and refined from rice bran or rice germ . Rice Derived Ceramide have been widely grown in the Southeast Asia, not only as a chief crop but also as an integral part of traditional culture and lifestyle in some Asian countries. Rice Derived Ceramide helps moisture retention, maintaining skin smoothness, improve dryness & itching and superior barrier properties.
